FREE Toys For Tots Concert Featuring Local Artist Jimmy Charles December 21st in Ocean Pines
If you love music and you would love to help a less fortunate child this Christmas, you must attend the FREE Toys for Tots Concert and toy drive at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club on December 21st. Ocean City local and country singer, Jimmy Charles, will be putting on a free concert appropriately called “I’ll be home for Christmas.” The concert will be held at the Ocean Pines Yacht and Country Club from 6pm to 10pm on December 21, 2011. Jimmy Charles was raised on the Eastern Shore. He is a graduate of Stephen Decatur who went on to follow his dream of recording music. His dream led him to Nashville where he now resides and records music. You may know Jimmy Charles from American Idol season 9. He was a contestant who was sent to Hollywood by Simon Cowell. After American Idol he appeared in countless newspapers, television and radio shows, but never forgetting his hometown. In fact, one of his songs is called “I Miss My Maryland.” Join Jimmy Charles as he gives back to the community in which he grew up on December 21st. All age groups are welcome. Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
